Te Kuri a Paoa

For this week I made a Kuri with pastel on black paper and an Apple Pencil on a iPad 6th gen with a drawing app called Procreate, Its like Photoshop but for iPad I used and apple pencil which will act like a normal pencil. It requires money $10 and I also used streamline 80% or 60% which is set automatic. I also used Monoline which is not automatic. To get monoline you need to click the brush then the "Calligraphy" on the brush tab and if you like you can do sketch a design you would like to draw.

I have enjoyed adding the pastel and using Procreate for this art.
I found it fun to make the art and using the iPad.
I found it hard to get the colors I needed to make this.

I made a mistake on here by missing a line between the two back legs and at the front legs too.

I made a mistake on this because I forgot the ears and I will add the ears and update the Procreate Kuri.

Goal Setting

This week I was learning about describing words and writing.
I enjoyed writing everything that is in my Goal setting.
I found it challenging to find different words to describe other things.

And I will update this when it comes to the end of Term 4!

My Favorite Food

 For cybersmart we were doing "My favorite sport" I didn't have a favorite sport so I did "My favorite Food" I couldn't think of what food I liked the most can you guess what it is? Me neither if you look at the slide below you'll find what it is! I hope you also like it and they taste better with tomato sauce and chips.

I was learning how to use Mote (works with school accounts or teachers).

I found it easy to copy the text I had written.

I found it hard to set up Mote for audio.

Game Chart

 For the past few weeks we have been gathering data for a graph (ex Food, takeaways and eta). We had to ask people in Room 1, then we had to go onto google sheets and put in all that data we had gathered. Then we made a bar graph or pie chart. We had to make statements about what we found out.

I did a game chart to see which game is better for an example 45 for minecraft and 55 for roblox. This shows what games boys and girls prefer what game they like the most.

 I was learning how to make a chart and how to add the percentage of what game is liked the most.
I found it hard to get all the data I needed.
I found it easy to make the pie shape for the percentage.

Sea Week!

For last 2 weeks we've been learning how to make connections between what we read. We were making a gif on Tall Tweets. Tall Tweets is a gif making website. This week is sea week
you use slides to make one. I was trying to think about a WOW fact to add and I couldn't think of one or search one up.

I enjoyed adding in the backgrounds.
I found it hard to find WOW facts.

FingerPrints & experiments

I was learning how to make connections between what we are reading and what activities we are doing. 

This week we were reading about fingerprints and what shape they have, you can have an Arch, Simple Loop, Double Loop, Right Loop and Whorl.

 We were stamping our fingerprints in ink  into our books to see what type of fingerprints we have. I noticed everyone has a different print, if you pressed to hard on the ink pad, you wouldn't be able to see your finger print properly, you had to print it a few times to see the shapes in your fingerprint.

We also did experiments, these were to test the different  reactions of water and types of white powder, we tested baking soda, washing powder, salt and citric acid. Once we mixed these together we put the little yellow paper in to see what colour it would turn. these are our results.

I enjoyed putting in the yellow paper into the water mixture to see what color it changed! It turned from yellow to black (use Citric acid)
I found it tricky to write down the mixtures of water onto my book and the color of the paper was.

My Lenten Promise

For lent we did a lenten promise which is when everyone gives up something and has to wait till Easter. That is when Lent is over and everyone can eat their thing they gave up they can use ait gain and for my lenten promise I am giving up KFC for lent.

I was learning about waiting for easter and giving up something I like.
I found it hard to know what to give up on.
I found it easy to add the color and the glue into my book.
