Harakeke

This week I was learning summarize.
I found it challenging to get the facts I wanted.
My digital learning object shows I can make QR codes and connect them to the right site than checking it with my iPad.
Next time I would change the background and make the words bigger.

Here is my work

Parihaka

This week we have been learning about Parihaka which is a place between Mount Taranaki and the Tasman sea in the North Island of New Zealand. By the 1880's, it was said to be the largest Māori village
where everyone was equal and self-sufficient. At the time, the New Zealand government confiscating Māori land. The Parihaka leaders were imprisoned for 16 months.

My buddy was Sam for the Parihaka.

I found it hard to write the words.

I found it easy to tape the feather together

Te Wiki o te Reo Maori

This week I  have been working on a book by Book Creator. We made a Maori translation book because it is Te Wiki o te Reo Maori. My topic was Animals which was fun to do. I have never made a book before so this was my first time making one.

Check my book here!

This week I have been learning te Reo.

I found it tricky to do the audio voice recording because some people were interrupting in the background so I had to use a loud voice.

I found it easy to find the animals.

Next time I will change the size of the words because then it would be easier to read.
